Trafika Europe has continued our partnership with the European Union Prize for Literature (EUPL). This year, we have 13 exciting interviews with authors that were nominated for their country. In the past, the EUPL crowned a winner for each of the countries involved in a cycle (one year of the prize didn’t include every country, but each of the ones that were included had a crowned winner). Now, the EUPL uses a jury to award one winner out of the nominated countries accompanied by five honorable mentions. We are lucky to be interviewing many authors from the 2024 nominations as well as a few authors from previous years.
So far, we have released episodes on the following:
- Gabriela Ruivo, Portugal, 2024
- Bojan Krivokapić, Serbia, 2024
- Aleks Farrugia, Malta, 2024
- Sholeh Rezazadeh, the Netherlands, 2024 (This week’s episode!)
Upcoming episodes include the following:
- Puskás Panni, Hungary, 2024 on September 20, 2024
- Daina Tabūna, Latvia, 2024, on October 4, 2024
- Todor Todorov, Bulgaria, 2024 on October 18, 2024
